Ten years ago we received a phone call from Playball parent telling us how much his son had enjoyed the Playball program. “What now?” he asked.

Our initial response was for the child to start tennis or cricket, however neither of those sports interested the child. The conversation moved to golf. His son wanted to play golf, but he did not know where to go to have him taught.

At the time we did not know of one organized, children’s oriented golf program. Some preliminary market research affirmed what we suspected. Golf at the time was not geared for the child.

At just about the same time a young, fit, handsome American started making his mark on the golf course around the world. Children started relating to a 22 year old “kid” who had the makings of a world champion. Playball then started developing the Playgolf program.
